Evangel Seminary was built thanks to God’s miraculous providence. In 1997 Ukrainian president Leonid Kuchma called a meeting of religious leaders in Ukraine in order to prepare for the year 2000. During that meeting representatives of appealed to the president to allot a portion of land for the construction of a church and seminary in Kiev.
After that the mayor allotted a plot of land in one of the central regions of the city near the wonderful Goloseyvsky Park, where the Seminary is now located.
During construction, which lasted 2 and a half years, God miraculously blessed with finances and wisdom for all participants in the project. Thanks to God’s direction, and the work and efforts of many people a beautiful and comfortable building now stands at 57 Goloseyskaya Ulitsa, which conforms to the highest standards of quality.
The first enrolment of students was held as planned in 2000. Since 2002 graduates of the Seminary serve to the far corners of the former Soviet Union. The Seminary continues to help the Church prepare and teach pastors, teachers and other church leaders.
